There are lots of inspiring activities taking place in Bodmin.
Get your hands dirty developing the growing spaces at intoBodmin, learn to cook and volunteer in the local area.
Whatever you’re interested in, whether it’s starting a career in the food industry, learning practical cooking skills or making new friends in your community, we’ve got it covered!
FoodWorks – a six-part cooking course, where people can learn to make tasty, healthy food on a budget. People can also gain qualifications, such as the Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate.
A weekly cooking club where people can cook in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Exciting workshops to learn new skills as well as opportunities to visit local businesses and learn more about the available employment options.
Brunch job sessions, with support on searching for jobs and preparing for interviews.
Everyone who joins Food for Change is teamed up with a Food for Change Mentor, who will guide people through the programme – helping people to set and reach their goals.
Who is eligible?
Food for Change is open to anyone aged 16 or over in Bodmin or the surrounding area who is not currently in work.
Food for Change is perfect for people who may have been out of the employment for a while, as the programme focuses on confidence building, meeting new people, learning practical skills and exploring different opportunities.
