The Fifteen Cornwall Training Programme is a life-changing mix of training, working, self-development and fun.
If you are aged between 16 and 24, and would like a fresh start or a second chance, then you are just the type of person we are looking for. Take part in our award-winning training programme at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall.
This challenging, yet inspirational, programme will enable you to gain qualifications and start an exciting new career in food.
The programme is intense. It takes place over the course of 15 months, with two spent at college and a further 12 months in the Fifteen Cornwall kitchen. You’ll work side by side with our team of professional chefs across every section of a commercial kitchen, learning the tricks of the trade and developing your own skills.
In addition, you will get to experience a range of inspiring trips, from visiting local food producers to meeting Jamie Oliver at his London HQ, and even travelling to Tuscany to experience authentic Italian food!
By graduation, you will have the knowledge and the experience to excel in any kitchen.

The trainee chefs are the beating heart of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant.
Cohort 14 started with Fifteen Cornwall in April 2019 following four months at Cornwall College. They now embark on an incredible, action-packed 12 months in the kitchen, where at the end they will become fully-fledged professional chefs.
You will get paid the national minimum wage, we will also pay you tips and help provide support towards travel costs from the nearby towns of Newquay, Bodmin and St Austell. All trainees will also receive uniforms and the equipment needed to work in a professional kitchen.
Our welfare support programme is there to help you with any challenges you may face inside or outside of the kitchen, working with you to help you succeed.
