Food For Change has changed me

Our Food for Change participant, Chloe regularly attends our St Austell FoodWorks sessions and Brunch Club.

As a thank you, Chloe has written a special poem about her experiences of the Food for Change programme.

Food For Change has changed me!

Food For Change has made me strong.

Food For Change has helped me to become me, helped me to become more independent and helped me to be healthier.

I’m more adventurous, eating things I would have never eaten like salmon.

    I love salmon.

I have done Food For Change for 2 years now.

I’ve made stirfry, poached eggs, baked beans and more.

Knife skills such as cross chop, the bridge and the rocking method.

Food For Change has changed me!

Getting involved in Food for Change is completely free and easy to do and is open to anyone who is currently out of work or full-time education.

You don’t have to have an interest in working with food, but by learning to grow, cook and trade, you can gain new skills, make friends and get involved in your community.
