Born and bred in Cornwall, Louise has gained a wealth of knowledge in the local hospitality, food and drinks sectors. Having grown up in a number of family-owned businesses, she became a restaurant manager by the age of 20 and has more than 15 years of Learning and Development experience in food, hospitality, business and teaching.
Louise has worked for the top training providers in Cornwall, specialising in work-based learning. She has created and delivered bespoke training for Rick Stein’s, St Austell Brewery, Warren’s Bakery, Tulip Foods Ltd, Domino’s Pizza, Roskilly’s, Morrison’s, Mitie and the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, among others.

David is the finance director and deputy chief executive of the Cornwall Food Foundation and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall.
He is a qualified chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of business sectors, ranging from engineering, manufacturing and construction to vegetable growing. He has previously held roles as senior finance manager at SEF Ltd, a large-scale vegetable grower and packer based in Cornwall and as the Chief Executive of the North Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

Ruth is the managing director of the Great Cornish Food Store and the founder of Cornwall Food & Drink, a platform to develop local food and drink businesses to build up their brand, increase productivity and get the most out of their people – all with the aim of making Cornish food and drink a strong, sustainable sector.
She is a food and drink strategist, researcher, market analyst, and now retailer, who has been specialising in Cornish food and drink for nearly 20 years. Few can match her knowledge, energy, integrity and downright determination to see the sector she knows and loves thrive.
