Taking place over the weekend of 27 – 29 September, the city-wide festival celebrates the very best Cornish Food and Drink with over 30,000 visitors.
Expect to see celebrity and local chef demos, a Cornish Food Hall packed with local produce, workshops, family fun, gourmet street food, plus live entertainment showcasing the best in local talent. At night there’s plenty of music and dancing, an array of Cornish beers and ciders and a real party atmosphere.
The festival will be centred around Lemon Quay and Boscawen Street with pop-up events and a restaurant trail across the city.
Adam took up the post of Head Chef at Fifteen Cornwall in April 2017. Adam had previously worked in the Fifteen Cornwall kitchen as a Senior Sous chef but left after five years to follow his love of food in Australia.
Adam will be joined by our Food for Change chef, Andrew Basso, a graduate of Cohort 2 who has previously been voted ‘Most Inspirational Chef.’
Foraging is a great way to build a stronger connection with nature and your local landscape, as well as providing you with fresh air and free, natural produce.
Join The Cornwall Food Foundation on an organised foraging walk around Truro and learn about naturally growing food, where we’ll pick various plants as we go along and try new things. These walks are part of the Truro Food Festival, starting at 11am from the Cornwall Food Foundation stand and lasting for 1 hour.
