Mental Health First Aid Training

Heartlands, Robinson's Shaft, Dudnance Ln, Pool TR15 3QY

With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem during their lifetime, supporting employee mental health is a growing challenge for many employers.

We know that there is a need for better understanding of mental health issues and the importance of implementing measures to support good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. This is why we’ve teamed up with Healthy Cornwall to deliver a two-day Mental Health First Aid Course.

During this two day course, you will learn to recognise early signs of mental health problems and respond appropriately to assist people in your workplace, community or family.

Upon completion of the course, participants will become certified mental health first aiders and can help colleagues with a mental health issue receive the support they need to recover or manage their symptoms.

Training is available to all local food and drinks organisations in Cornwall.

Course length: Two days

Date: Monday 2 & Tuesday 3 December 2019

Time: 9:30am – 5pm

Facilitator: Healthy Cornwall

Location: Heartlands, Robinson’s Shaft, Dudnance Ln, Pool TR15 3QY
