With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem during their lifetime, supporting employee mental health is a growing challenge for many employers.
Our recent ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing in the Food Industry’ event highlighted the need for better understanding of mental health issues and the importance of implementing measures to support good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that we have secured dates to deliver a two-day Mental Health First Aid Course with Healthy Cornwall.
During this two day course, you will learn to recognise early signs of mental health problems and respond appropriately to assist people in your workplace, community or family.
Upon completion of the course, participants will become certified mental health first aiders and can help colleagues with a mental health issue receive the support they need to recover or manage their symptoms.
Training is available to all organisations on our Experts Grow programme.
Spaces are limited so please register your interest below and we will be in touch once the venue has been confirmed.
Course length: Two days
Date: Monday 2 & Tuesday 3 December 2019
